Condensed-milk latte (Spanish latte)

Applies to: a sweet espresso-and-milk drink built on sweetened condensed milk, hot or iced.

  1. Add sweetened condensed milk to the cup or glass, dosed to your recipe's sweetness target.
  2. Dose condensed milk by measured amount, not free-pour, so every drink tastes identical.
  3. Pull the espresso directly onto the condensed milk and stir to fully dissolve it into the hot shot.
  4. Hot: top with steamed milk to a thin microfoam. Iced: add cold milk over full ice, then the espresso mix.
  5. For iced, leave it lightly layered or give one gentle stir per your presentation standard.
