Batch-brew flask / thermal server cleaning

Applies to: the thermal servers, airpots, and flasks that hold coffee-of-the-day / batch brew.

1. Empty and discard any coffee past its hold time; record the discard.
2. Batch coffee is held in a thermal server and discarded after about 2 hours — never re-used.
3. Rinse the server with hot water after every batch to stop oils drying onto the walls.
4. Daily, disassemble the lid, spout/pump, and gasket, and wash every part with detergent and the bottle brush.
5. Pay special attention to the spout and pump tube — stale coffee hides there and taints the next batch.
6. Sanitize all parts at label dilution, then rinse if the label requires it.
7. Air-dry inverted and reassemble; descale periodically to clear mineral film.
